about me
I believe colors tell stories words cannot.
Based mainly in Spain, I draw my inspiration from the sea, the Mediterranean landscape, and the light that constantly shifts and dances across this vibrant world. The sea, in particular, is at the heart of my work — in its endless movement, depth, and silence. Its colors, its rhythms, its reflections of light and shadow all become part of my visual language. It is not just a source of inspiration, but a feeling that flows through everything I create.
The name mararte itself is rooted in the Spanish word “mar” — the sea — reflecting this deep connection. Like the sea, my work is fluid, ever-changing, and never the same twice.
The rhythm of the surroundings, the warmth of the air, the people, and the everyday moments all leave their imprint on my work. There is a certain energy here — alive, sunlit, and full of movement — and I translate that feeling into colors and forms.
My silk pieces are created using a steam-setting technique, allowing the colors to flow, merge, and settle in a way that feels both controlled and free. On canvas, I work in mixed media, layering materials, textures, and pigments to build depth and atmosphere.
Each piece is guided by intuition and shaped by the moment in which it is created — making every work truly one of a kind.
